Common questions
How is "safe to spend today" calculated?
It's what's left of your monthly budget divided by the days remaining in the month. Spend more today and the number recalculates smaller for the days that follow. It never goes below zero, so a bad week can't put you in a hole you have to stare at.
Do you connect to my bank?
No, and we don't plan to. There is no bank linking in the app, so there are no banking credentials for us to hold and nothing for an attacker to take. You enter spending yourself, which is also what makes you notice it.
What does CalmBudget Pro include?
Custom categories, your full spending history (the free plan shows the last three months), and unlimited AI quick-add. Logging expenses, the safe-to-spend number, and your categories are free forever.
How do I cancel a subscription?
Subscriptions are billed by Apple or Google, not by us. Cancel in your App Store or Google Play account settings. Cancelling stops future renewals; your budget and history stay in the app.
